Brisbane Marketing operated paper-based processes for learning, performance and recruitment. These processes required a lot of manual input from both line of business managers and HR – taking up valuable time that could be better used in more strategic areas. Recognising the need to introduce streamlined online processes, Janice Elsley, Head of People, Performance and Culture, Brisbane Marketing, undertook research into the providers in the market.
Brisbane Marketing opted to go with ELMO’s Learning Management, Performance Management and Recruitment modules.
“We made the choice to go with ELMO basically because of the capability to add on extra modules to the system – it’s been fantastic,” says Elsley.
She adds that the positive impact has been widespread across the business.
“I’ve noticed employee turnover has decreased, productivity has increased, and the time efficiency in terms of the administration burden that we’ve had in the past has now been lifted. ”
Elsley says she has worked with other technology providers previously, but the reason she opted for ELMO was because of the additional capabilities it offers in comparison with others.
“It’s really easy to use, it has [an] easy layout, the manuals and help provided by ELMO is just sensational. Of course I would recommend ELMO to others.”
